On our “off” weeks we work on other content for the paper and office type work. Replying to emails, dealing with advertising people, catching up with what the CSA wants from us, updating the website, and talking about what we can do to make the next paper that much better. Our “off” week’s are much more relaxing, mostly because we aren’t up until 1 in the morning working. Coming up with ideas on how to improve can also be fun and lead to some hilarious discussions between the Editors and the CSA Executive members. Our next contest, featured in this issue has been on our mind for quite some time and we’re glad we finally get to share it with you (check out this issue’s insert if you’re interested in winning Cineplex tickets for two and the Hunger Games novels). There is nowhere to go but up here at The Bolt no matter how good we get, a publication is always growing and changing and it’s always a fresh experience every week.
Late nights, good time, hard times, fun times, all sorts of times, working for The Bolt has it all. It can be a big job but it’s something we enjoy and I couldn’t ask for a better team to work with week after week.
