The burger satisfies all of the conditions of a highly valuable breakfast. With the beef patty and cheese, you have your protein aspect, with the vegetables and toppings, you have your roughage, and with the bun, you've got your carbs Hun! If you're not satisfied with the roughage, add alfalfa sprouts, they are absolute wonder-makers on a sandwich. Of course, in lieu of the traditional greasy fries, substitute for hash browns, or an english muffin. That is if you're interested in more carbs. If you're not, then a burger alone should satisfy your morning routine. One item of food, an entire meal, a delicious, mouthwatering experience.
Having recently watched Riverdale, a murder-mystery television show, set in the universe of the Archie comics™, I've become rather passionate about burgers. I say this because the show keeps neglecting to include scenes of Jughead(Cole Sprouse) mowing down tray after tray of burgers at Pop's Chocklit Shoppe. But burgers man, they're so delightful. From the crisp leafs of lettuce, to the savoury slices of tomato, there is nothing wrong with anything you can think of to top your burger. Have you been to Harvey's recently? That place is a palace of flavour. Free Guacamole, no kidding. I have no doubt in my mind that Guy Fieri would eat at Harvey's. Probably say something about the outstanding service, the genuine experience, and then say something like, "Ho boy, the banana peppers on that burger have some kick!", to which the Harvey's employee would respond, "Yes sir, that is what you ordered. Are you enjoying everything?", to which Guy Fieri would respond, "Ho boy! You hear that folks? They genuinely care about you here at Harvey's. That's all for us here at diners, drive-ins, dives, and Harvey's! "
...and let's talk toppings! Eggs, peppers, leafy greens, beans, pickles, tomatoes, onions, fries, cheeses, bacon, cold-cut meats, pineapples.you know where I'm going with this. You can put anything on burgers. Oh, you're a vegetarian? Sorry, no excuses: try this, a black bean veggie patty...outrageous good. you can't tell me that it doesn't still fulfill a complete and wholesome diet.
If you're a vegan...good on you. I'm sure there is something resembling a burger that you would resent eating, but anyway, I'll be eating hamburgers. In a "Super-Size Me" like effort, I would like to see what a diet of burgers for breakfast would confer in terms of happiness and sustenance on the day. I'm positive with good effort in the gym the diet would not be too risky on the old heart, however, I'm wondering if one can enjoy any other food in the day after having enjoyed the sheer perfection of a burger at breakfast! I don't think it's possible. So perhaps if only for the sake of enjoying other food throughout the day, one should not eat burgers in the morning, lest they desire to eat burgers all throughout the day.
